California restaurants, shopping malls, and other businesses will be reopening in the coming days and weeks in counties that meet state requirements for testing.
According to Gov. Gavin Newsom, all businesses will have to prove that they’re successful in reducing cases of the coronavirus, and will still have to abide by state guidelines for physical distancing and cleaning regimens. It comes some two months after Newsom issued a stay-at-home order that closed most businesses.
