Maestro Michael Neumann is retiring after some 40 seasons with the Sacramento Youth Symphony.
Under his leadership, the Symphony has grown into one of the largest youth orchestra programs in California. Neumann’s concert events have become a staple in the community and many of his former students have gone on to perform with some of the most prestigious orchestras from around the world.
Today we talk with the retiring Neumann on his career and years with the Sacramento Youth Symphony.
