Meet Ngaio Bealum (Ngaio420 on every social network ever) a Sacramento comic and Sac News & Review columnist. He hosts a monthly show at The Momo Lounge, put out a CD and has made several appearances on The Sarah Silverman Program.

Ngaio knows more than or two about music. He brings us tracks from Peru, Oakland, Miami; music of miners, social justice activists, disco funk and country.  His Spotify account s a great way to keep up with his tastes. You can also debate him at Twitter.

As his moniker suggests Ngaio knows a thing or two about weed also, he’s made a career out of it.  Type N-G-A-I-O into any search engine, videos of him performing at Festivals/Protestivals are early in the results. He’s part of a crop of talent that cut their teeth in SF.  Comics like Brian Posehn, Greg Proops and Patton Oswalt are all in his circle.  Ngaio stands shoulder to shoulder with Doug Benson in the weed comedy subgenre.  In the video below he sits shoulder to shoulder with him.
